Accesibility
Compliance with standards
This website has been designed and programmed following the guidelines of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI, www.w3.org/wai), which sets international standards for creating web content that is accessible to all.
Accessibility Features
A number of steps were taken to make the site more accessible, including:
- Items are presented in a logical order on screen.
- Simplified navigation, with no pull-down menus.
- Images are accompanied by descriptive texts.
- The main options are available using keyboard shortcuts.
Keyboard shortcuts
Most browsers support direct Access to links using key combinations defined on the web site (keyboard shortcuts).
For example, in Windows and Lynux, you can press Alt + the access key (In Internet Explorer you must also press enter ); In Macintosh, press Ctrl + The access key .
The following keyboard shortcuts work on our website:
- 0 Accessibility
- 1 Home
- 6 Top
- 8 Legal Notice
- 9 Contact
Links
Most links whose text does not fully describe the target have a “title” attribute with a clarification.
Where possible, links are written so as to be meaningful even if viewed out of context. Some browsers (e.g. JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx and Opera) can extract a list of the links on the current page and allow the user to navigate using that list. Because of this, links are not duplicated and any duplicate links lead to the same content.
No JavaScript pseudo-links are used. All links can be followed in any browser, even if JavaScript is disabled.
